Enrollment in online programs continues to grow. How are institutions adapting to best serve this non-traditional classroom?
The UT System Innovations in Online Learning (IOL) conference explores the creative ways in which faculty and staff are helping to transform the field. Best practices, successes in online student services, and future trends in technology will be shared. The sixth annual conference, hosted by the UT TeleCampus, will be held May 26-28, 2010 at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown.
If you are involved in online education at any level, you will want to join us. Past IOL attendees and presenters have included deans, librarians, instructional designers, and faculty in various disciplines across Texas. Topics are geared toward both experienced professionals and interested newcomers.
Concurrent sessions are organized across five tracks: Administration and Policy; Course Development; Student and Faculty Services; Teaching and Learning; and Technology. Sessions are evaluated to help foster learning, development, and collaboration in an evolving field, while preconference workshops offer practical knowledge in the use of educational technologies.
Whether you're looking for insights into strategic planning, integrating interactivity, or you are simply curious about incorporating technology in education, the UT System's 2010 Innovations in Online Learning (IOL) conference is a not-to-be-missed event.
