2016 IOL Conference

The Innovations for Online Learning (IOL) Conference, hosted by The University of Texas at San Antonio, is in its 12th year. Located in scenic San Antonio, Texas, IOL is designed for higher education faculty, staff, and students who are engaged in any level of online learning. Experiences range from enhancing a face-to-face course to teaching fully online. As in past years, we will continue our discussions of best practices, successes in online student services, and future trends in technology.

During this annual conference, IOL brings together innovative thinkers to present an exciting variety of topics and practical solutions that advocate collaboration and professional excellence in the online field.

Conference Theme

This year’s conference theme is I.D.E.A.S. for Change. Ideas are sparks that drive innovation and represent visions for the future. As ideas guide toward new scenarios or technologies they create a thread that connects people and generations. The IOL Conference will officially begin at 1:30 p.m. on May 25th and conclude with a lunch and closing keynote speaker at noon on May 27th.
